It all began with a boy named James who loved milk tea. He would drink it on a daily basis, but would feel qualms of guilt with every plastic straw, lid, and cup he used. After 21 years of suffering, he needed a change.

One day, James and his friend Mandi were studying in a boba shop when Mandi confessed she had been boycotting boba for 6 months because of all the plastic it used. Immediately, the two realized their shared passion for boba and the environment and were fueled by a burning desire to change the system. And thus, JAR-GON was born.
